Felicity Layne (aka Davion Edwards) "accidentally" began a career in the art of female impersonation in 1989 after winning a Best Drag Contest in New Haven, CT. As Felicity, he went on to win numerous pageants in New Haven, the South Shore, and Boston. In 1997, Felicity was crowned here at the Crown & Anchor as Miss Massachusetts US of A. Since 1997, Davion has continued to perfect and hone his skills as a female illusionist and entertainer here in Provincetown, starring in and emceeing several drag reviews, including Mirage, Big Boned Barbies, Ma Vie En Rouge, Fired Up, and was recently featured in the local documentary film "Showgirls".
Felicity has also donated her time, energy, and talent by helping to raise money for various non-profit AIDS and women's organizations, including SuitAbility in Lowell, MA and Helping Our Women in Provincetown.
Felicity Layne says, "I'm addicted to glamour!" and she often jokes, "if glamour were an Olympic sport, I'd be a multi-gold medalist!" She feels privileged and blessed to be a part of Illusions.
